Update Nov 21: also sending photos from my device doesn't work. Complete garbage. Edit: still doesn't work in Firefox in May 2021. Trying to open sent files in the app causes it to crash. Sending files using the Firefox extension doesn't work at all (EDIT: still not working in March 2019). Pretty useless.Sep 07, 2025 02:28:37

I've been a pushbullet user for almost 7 years. There's no comparable service, they try and fail. I use pushbullet daily, easy way to remind myself of something for when I open my pc next. Or to text from my pc. Or to use any of the other awesome features. It's a good placeholder for things you need to retrieve later also.Sep 07, 2025 01:16:54

I like it a lot. Most of the time my PC picks up texts and calls before my phone. Only a couple of seconds but still cool. Similar apps (eg. Pulse SMS) give users an alternative to monthly subscriptions, by paying a larger sum once for a lifetime licence. Pushbullet does not and is therefore not worth the storage space on my phone. Everything else has been said by previous customers: the features are nice but rather standard these days, whereas charging users repeatedly is something that others make optional, but not compulsory to unlock their software's full functionality. What's next? Micro-payments for every dot and comma, like the greedy pest that games have become on Android? The program also requires far more permissions than competitors.Sep 05, 2025 18:42:33

It just works. I've used this app for many years, and it has never failed me. Even going above and beyond with file sharing too! Couldn't ask for a better experience, it doesn't disappoint. Used in conjunction with IFTT and a shareware client app for PushBullet, called Push2Run, I can control my computer with my Google Home Mini. And once I can rename Google Home as Alfred, I will then be Batman. Cool eh? Anyways. But upon exploring the software on PC, I also think the applications outside of mine are outstanding. I love this. It's a little intense on the battery if you're running a Samsung S6 (outdated phone), but I'm sure it shouldn't be a problem with newer devices. CheersSep 04, 2025 22:55:17
