The Winter Wedding is a story-driven visual novel set in an atmospheric manor as a wedding approaches; this demo follows an omega protagonist through mystery, grief, and shifting loyalties across roughly 20,000 words covering Day 1 and Day 2 and provides a substantial introduction to the story.
Key Features
In The Winter Wedding players encounter branching choices and multiple endings, including three different endings and unlockable romance scenes with extra CGs to discover. The demo includes two male love interests within an Omegaverse setting and allows full customization of the main character's name, gender and pronouns. The narrative blends psychological horror, thriller and fantastical elements with variable backgrounds and scene variations, and the game offers language support in English, Italian and Latin American Spanish with an in-game option to change language.
Advantages
Players of The Winter Wedding will find a deep, character-led narrative and an atmosphere designed to reward exploration and replay; multiple romance paths and secret scenes increase replayability while customization and multilingual support make the demo accessible to diverse players. The provided demo delivers finished content for the first two days so players can assess tone and mechanics before the full story is released.
Disadvantages
The demo covers only the opening chapters (Day 1 and Day 2), so the complete story is not yet available. The game contains mature, potentially disturbing themes presented in a non-graphic manner, including depictions of death, blood, serious injury and unhealthy relationship dynamics. Gameplay also includes flashing lights, screen shake, jump scares and sudden loud noises that may not be suitable for all players.
Development Team
The Winter Wedding was written and developed by pinkoko, darklime and desertinthesea, with character art by darklime and coding by Zuzu. Backgrounds were created by Sandy Aaron and yyuebing and music was composed by pianocafe_Kumi. Italian translation was handled by Marianna Ricciardi and Spanish (LATAM) translation by Gabriela Colmenares, with additional sound contributions from community sources. The demo was submitted to several game jams and festivals in 2025, and the team welcomes ratings and comments to support ongoing development.
